    My new 90 gallon

I had these 2'x4' white ceiling tiles that are a very heavy duty plastic with white fiberglass on both sides. I cut one of them down thinner and glued it to a piece of 1x10 pine. I have about 3 extra 2x4 tiles if you think you can use them. I dont need anymore and would rather not waste them...

    My new 90 gallon

My noise is pretty low, just the sound of running water but I dont have any vibrations. I am having a hard time getting the skimmer set right though, just when I think I have it the collection cup is full of water. I open the gate valve a little more and the same thing happens. Stan suggested I...

    My new 90 gallon

The return is dumping into the same bay as the skimmer but not directly. I need to put something over the return because its making a lot of bubbles, but the tank is pretty clear so maybe I should let things run the course first and see what happens. Thanks for the comments guys. And Ed I only...

Jasonanatal's 120 gallon "Advanced Complexity" Reef Aquarium

Re: Jasonanatal's 120 gallon "Natural Simplicity" Reef Aquarium. I live in a condo so I feel your pain. Space is very limited here also. I would kill to have a 12" sliding compund mitre saw with the stand and everything, one day, one day... $60 is a great price for the Ryobi though, can't...

    My new 90 gallon

So the 1" x 4" oak that the lights are attached to didnt seem to look as good as I had hoped. I like the fact that I can reach my arm in though so it got me thinking. I was letting a lot of light out of the tank also with the 8" of gap between the tank and the lights. So I went to home depot and...

Jasonanatal's 120 gallon "Advanced Complexity" Reef Aquarium

Re: Jasonanatal's 120 gallon "Natural Simplicity" Reef Aquarium. Awesome fish, they look fantastic. The Ryobi is the way to go for the money, and if you dont plan on using it all that often it will hold up just fine. We use a lot of dewalt things on jobsites and let me tell you, sometimes it...
