Just got one to take care of my feather duster problem. I read in the fish book that they will go after fan worms/feather dusters. Hope the book is right. So I acclmated him for 2 hours and I just put him in the tank. After about 1/10th of a lap he burried himself in the sand ... completely...

Boil it, bake it, dry it out. Don't matter. If you like the shape then just kill it and it will "liven" up when you add it to your new set up.

Sounds like you're doing pretty good. Are you thinking about doing corals? The angel wouldn't be good in a reef tank unless it was an SPS (small polyp stony) tank. But you have a potential reef if you ever get lighting. If you wanted to get rid of the Aquaclear and get a phosban reactor you...

What kind of lighting is it in there?

A. for me too. Would do B. for easier maintenance purposes but I like the look of sand too much.

Like you said, they are hit or miss. I don't have one but I have read that you should make it one of your last fish. They're very agressive and once it establishes itself it will harrass any fish that you add to the tank afterward.

So I won't have to treat my main tank with the interceptor... only the 58 gallon with the acros in it?

I want to put all corals in QT and then strip my tank down. I need to reaquascape and i'm using this as an opportunity to treat all my corals for anything that could be wrong. I noticed some zoas melting (maybe pox.. hence the furan-2) and I also noticed redbugs. I don't want to treat my tank...

Good idea Jonathan. I'll try that first. I've been eyeing a yellow coris wrasse. If they go after the dusters then that would be perfect.

OK... here's my plan for tomorrow. I'm gonna take a 2 five gallon buckets and fill them halfway with RO. I'll use the first one for dipping and the second one for rinsing. I'm gonna do 40drops of Lugol's, 2-3 drops of flatworm exit. Let them soak for 30 minutes. After that i'm gonna swish...
