Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
I'm not sure. I guess there always has to be a pioneer to get things started. Who knows maybe you'll start a trend. Good luck with whatever you decide to do and make sure you take pictures every step of the way.
Jorge, I'm curious. What's your SPS treatment before putting them in your main tank.
Dipping? QTing? or nothing at all?
Also you have a PM on reef2reef. Monday would be perfect.
Yeah, I'm not really looking for a job... just the paper on the wall. I'm happy just being (as Andom1 says) a Pizzaman. ::)
I can do alot better slinging pies than I could looking for a job in marine biology field. I kinda just want the pride that goes along with getting a degree in a field...
dnov99 (Darren) has one in his tank... it's GORGEOUS!!
His nips (but doesn't kill) on certain corals but it's worth it because he gets to look at that beautiful fish everyday.
I don't think the small holes would work too well. I would go with the first picture but add teeth to the lower part so that fish don't get into the over flow.

Have you tried to enter the POTM with some pictures.
Send in a picture or 2 to photos@njreefers.org
I have a rebel xti too and I have yet to win the contest... :-\
As long as they're letting people know that they are not "reef safe" and missinforming their customers then I don't see a problem selling them.
If they were selling them to reef tank owners and telling them that they are cool to put in their tanks than that's a different story.
OK ... I placed my order... I had to give my vet's name, phone number, and my pet's name.
I did it and i used my real vet with my dogs name ... i'll let you know if it works.
