mine picks at the rocks and glass all day and then eats mysis and whatever else goes in at feeding time. by the end of the day he always looks like he's gonna explode. they have a huge appetite! never saw him munch on algae sheets though

that makes me feel better. i only have 4 and they come out at night other than a little in the day. since ive had the powerheads on timerrs the rest of the tank corals look even better! thanks for all the advice. i took some pics with my new digi, ill post them to my thread

i pretty certain none of my fish are bothering them. they are all model citizens :) in the tank are 2 anthias, maroon, coral beauty (is pretty well behaved other than an occasional nip at my carnation) both flavors of mandarin, engineer goby, lawnmower, blue devil, purple firefish,yellow tang.
i have a couple acros and am curious as to why i only see the polyps coming out at night. during the day only a tiny bit of the tips are visible. at night they extend out real nice. is this normal? ive had them for over a month
