My uncle said his chocolate chip star always ate his corals so he sold it. I never though they were reef safe anyways... I don't remember who but someone told me along time ago that star fish with horns on them are not reef safe.

Well if it's full of water and your adding more sand, I'd just grab a hand full of sand out of the bag (or you can use a cup) and slowly lower it to the bottom then drop it. It won't make as big of a mess as just pouring it in. One thing about saltwater is don't rush. You can make mistakes :-[...

I used both my Red Sea and API to test the PH. I tried the Red Sea first but you gotta hold it 20cm away and it's hard to tell from that far because you see the chart inside the vial... so it was hard to tell. API shows about 8.2 Red Sea shows about 8.4

Got the vials. Tested the water and... it's was 1.4 - 2.0

Hey guys, I found a CPR Dual BakPak for 50bucks. I'm hoping someone has it and could tell me if i should get it or not. Any feedback on this skimmer? I'm guessing it'd skimmer the crap out of my 20g??? Thanks, Nick
