So, once again I went a little hog-wild with the clowns! Ended up picking up two pairs of Premium Snowflake clowns! Now I'm back to 5 pairs, with only 4 tanks (3 that are going to be kept). So, if anyone would like to buy a pair of clowns from me, let me know! I have a bonded pair of B/W clowns...
I appreciate that bud. I'm giving it a couple of weeks to make sure everything is okay. Did a 50% wc after I posted, and did another 50% yesterday. I'm going to give it another couple of weeks to make sure things are stable before I attempt to put anything back in there >_<
Well, I had a GBTA that was about a foot long at it's base in my 55g tank. My clowns in there tried hosting it, and chased it straight across the tank to a powerhead. Unfortunately I was at work during, so I wasn't able to un-plug the powerhead and try and save it. It released it's stinger...
Looking for a tank that's between 125-180 gallons. Preferably 6 ft long, but if it's a 4ft it needs to have a decent footprint for corals! RR is appreciated, although if I have to I can drill it myself! Working on a severe budget, so let me know! Thanks!
Might not be such a bad idea, do you have to be a legit NJRC member to do it? If so, when does the group buy thing happen because my next paycheck isn't for two weeks. Fortunately, it's direct deposit so I'll have it on my card the day of.
Also, going with what Nikki said, you should add a sump/refugium. That'll increase your total water volume and increase your bioload. That will help prevent a crash from over-stocking (not 100% guarantee though!). Keeping my fingers crossed for ya! And hot damn, three clams! I bet they look...
Uh, that's a lot of fish for only a 34g tank... didn't you ever head the 1 fish per 10 gallon rule for saltwater? Overpopulating leads to stress, which leads to parasite outbreaks and fungal outbreaks. That's a recipe for a crash man. In a 34g tank, at most I'd do 4 fish. But, hey, crazier...
Save your money on the bottled bacteria. Cycle the tank with the dry rock. No need to cook it lol. Just make sure you rinse it REALLY well before hand. Put it in a bucket, and run a hose through it till the water comes out clear (it won't be crystal clear, but pretty clear is good). Then, pick...
Glad to see you got the reactor Jun :).
Good to see that there are still good people left in this world. I love the idea of only giving it to people who really need the help. +1 :)
Also, if anyone is interested in a Bursa Trigger, Snowflake Eel, or a pair of Maroon Clowns (And you have the...
Hi all, me again! Still have the Bursa and the Eel if anyone wants it (Can't explain to you why I didn't just take them to my LFS.... but I still have em!)
Anywho! So, I also have a pair of Maroon clowns that need a good home! One is about 3/4-1" and the other is about 1.5". Both eat like...
