i have a 55g refugium with a 4-5 inch DSB exclusive from my DT & sump. the tanks is filled with LR then a divider and calupera on the other side. i keep the light on 24/7. tank is filled with coraline. no cons to report.
it just seems that whatever i am looking for at home depot they just happen to be sold out. espeically pvc plumbing items- complete waste of time! and that goes for the home depot in old bridge and woodbridge. i can honestly say the lowes in old bridge beats our local HD's tenfold. More...
sounds as if the golden angel is the most reef friendly of the dwarf angels, but not still, as its been said over and over again, every fish is different.
here is what Drs F&S have to say about this species-
Often maintained by hobbyists in the reef aquarium, caution should be used if there...
i have been thinking about adding a flame angel and/or a coral beauty, but i think i am going to stay clear of angels for my reef tank. i have both of these fish in my previous tanks anyhow.
i think there are two different versions of the ranco controller. one that only controls one item (heater OR fan/chiller) and the other that controls two (heater & fan/chiller). spend the extra and get the dual!
i have one, works great. you set the temp you want your heaters to turn on at, and it turns the heaters on for you. this way, your heater will never get stuck and make the tank temp go up to 90 degrees (heard that horror story too many times). you can also set a temp for when the tank gets too...
i think the problem is those corals down in front. i think if you let me take those corals off your hands you will forget about how do are not happy with your LR set up. just kidding, i think it looks good as is.
thanks for the compliments. i had it done at fat kat in keyport.
adesimone1- your daughters tat is really nice. memorial tats hold a lot of sentimental value for me. i have one for my daughter who past away. i will take a pic when i can (if i remember)
wendy- very nice! any what are you...
wow very cool. i have two cleaner shrimp in my tank, saw one cleaning one of my bartletts today for the first time. then been in there for over a month now.
