I am sure it is Bryopsis, i have had GHA algae before and this is not GHA (i wish it was). i raised the mag to about 1600-1650, will give it a day or two.

What was a couple small patches of bryopsis is starting to spread like wildfire. I raised the magnesium up to 1550 but no signs of recession. any advice? would a kole tang eat this stuff?? i really dont want to this to over-run my whole tank!

yeah i saw koralia now has a wavemaker, but i do not think you can use the normal koralia power heads with it.

i have a similar set up. a display tank (180g), a refugium (55g), and a sump (55g). i run a mag-9.5 for my DT & and mag-7 for my fuge. plus a mag-18 for my skimmer yes it causes heat having 3 pumps. but thats what fans and a chiller is for i guess.

i was only asking so i could avoid making the same mistake myself. i dont think i have to worry about that one. you might want to look into getting a heavy bag

i just got about 300lbs from tampabaysaltwater.com a few months ago good stuff, lots of life, but some hitchhikers too.

Added some Kenya Tree and Red Mushrooms today. Been slacking on pics! I am supposed to pic up some neon green candies and a zoo frag tomorrow, that should be enough for me to take some new pics and upload them.

you dont have any problems with Korallias starting & stopping. i didnt think they were ideal for that type of use. i know mine are noisy when starting.
