    4 parts baking soda to 1 part baked baking soda mixes to a pH of ~8.2 btw in case you would be looking to avoid a pH swing.

    Purple up?

    imo it is an expensive calcium additive with an iodine kicker. The two main ingredients in Purple up is water and Aragonite powder. Aragonite adds nothing to the tank until the tanks pH goes below 7. Coralline scraping (to include on the rock) goes along way in it's spreading
