I'm with you guys. I love smaller fish. I feel that in the smaller tanks they afford you more variety and in the larhee tanks you can really simulate the natural environment better by having them in larher groups.

This thing hsd been sittiing for a few days so I finally decided to putt the iverflow box in and fill it up. Going to let it sit for 24 hours to see if there are any leaks.
On a side note. I picked up black paint for the back glass of my 75 over the weekend. Painted the back and decided...
I'm with down beach. While most people tumble gfo i always found it worked just fine mixed with the carbon. I actually stopped using it about a month ago as I I'm running it with biopellets and found I was stripping the water to much. My lps have bounced back really well and my sps are doing...
Definatly cheaper to buy a big sheet but you also have to have the tools to machine it properly. 5 18x18 sheets of 1/4" cost 60 bucks through delvies and they will cut them down to your exact size. Also make sure you get cell cast not extruded
This time I had the plastic cut to size for my by the merchant. I scraped the saw marks out. Used a router to cut the bracing. Ill turn the left over acrylic into racks. Eventually in going to get a table saw so I can do bigger projects.

I made the mistake of not painting the back glass when I set my 75 up almost 3 years ago. I've use the black film stuff. It sucks. Iv used rustoleum in a spray can for my other tank. Works great. But with the tank inside and full theres no way I'm breaking out the spray cans. I'm thinking a...
Most definitely. Let me know you need any help with the tank. I'm about to build a small frag tank that will be plumbed into my display. Will give me an opportunity to redo all my plumbing and erase a few of the mistakes I made when first starting out. As for the money flow. It never really...

Tanks going to be 18x16x12 I'm going to have some left over acrylic but but now you have me thinking. I might even have to order some fluorescent acrylic to jazz this thing up. My initial plan has just been to grab some black eggcrate and build a PVC frame but this would look cooler.
So. I'm building my self a 14 gallon acrylic frag tank. Materials have been ordered. I have a nano overflow kit coming from glass holes and plan on using an apollo led cube for lighting. This will be plumbed into the DT. Any dos and donts you guys can throw out would be appreciated.
