No. I dose with RedSea "Calcium +3" until I get my Kalk Reactor and Ca Reactor hooked up hopefully next month. I have the Ca Reactor now but I don't want to risk lowering my Ph. any more than it is, as the CO2 will effect the Ph. The buffer is SeaChem "Reef Buffer"

OK ... I've been running a very low Ph. 7.8-7.9 and it's really bothering me. I don't want to add buffer and i'm not sure how to raise it without throwing my system out of whack. There are only one or two corals that seem to be unhappy with their polyp extension almost nonexistant but...

The picture you posted is of a Sohal. At least that's what mine shows ... it says "ReefCentral and REefkeeping Magazine don't support image hot-linking." And then shows the Reef Central Logo which is a Sohal.

Sounds like things are coming along nice. Also, for a 120 I think 2 40lb bags of CaribSea should do the trick. They are in the $24-$30 range per 40lb bag. I had about 90lbs of sand in my 120 and I had to siphon about 20lbs out.

I think T5's are a great idea. No heat and your electric bill will be lower. The only downside is no shimmer.... but I'm not sure how important that really is for the health of the coral.
