Hey Andrew,
How's everything. Your damsel is still at Aquatic Obsessions. That thing is a MONSTER.
Anyway. Alot of us are using the Coralife 12K reeflux HQI or SE. I'm running 2 250w on a 24" deep 120g AGA. I think you can get away with 150w if you want. Last I can remember you're doing LPS...
Bill you should write a review under our reviews section.
Based on how they've chose to handle your claim, alone, I won't deal with them. Not that I was planning on it but if for anyreason down the line ... I won't deal with them.
Not at all... just get a Carib Sea brand or something similar already live sand and when you put it in the tank there is a method I use ....
Cut open the bag and roll it closed, fold the corners in because they will leak, submerge the bag to the bottom and unroll the bag and the sand will slide...
As long as you don't get the sand trapped between the magnet and the glass you shouldn't scratch it. You just have to be carefull while cleaning. You can always just use a piece of soft fabric sponge to clean the glass.
Good work John.
Hey 9Supratt4,
If your looking for someone to drill your tank/sump. PM Ligershark (Tom) he drilled my 29g and he's got plenty of expirience.
Angels are notorious for pop eye/cloudy eye. I think if you take him out and treat him with MaracynII for 5-7 days you should notice an improvment.
I nursed my watanabe angel back to health this way.
Sounds like it would.
I still recommend the Hang on Fuge.
I would have saved so much money if I stopped TRYING to save so much money! If you know what I mean.
Phyl, I'm with you. If the stirring mechanism breaks then you're SOOL but if your pump breaks it's a quick fix... less than $20 and same day solution. Better then ordering a part paying more money and waiting.
In my opinion there is no question that the pump is the smarter choice.
I don't really think you need them.... give them to me. Just kidding. I think if you but them in your tank they'll be fine. They won't eat your polyps. I have 5 in my 120 and I never really see them except when I feed the tank they eat really small stuff that gets moved around.
I was just reading CORAL magazine and the tank that is being covered this quarter is being dosed with nitrate because his water is too clean. Not saying that's what you should do just thought that comment fit in with this conversation.
