For my horses I have 2 gorgonians and some halmeda macro algae... I also have an arc made of small live rock that I glued together that they like to hang out on.
Hey Bob, Rich is on point with the Marco rock .. definitely check them out.
Phyl recomended my RODI and i like it alot for my 120.
P.s. I also hope your yellow milli is still around .... calling anyone with his yellow milli .. frag me a piece and i'll hold it for him ;D
Question for everyone using this for a sump or stock tank. Don't you guys worry that something is going to get inside it? What do you guys do to cover it .. if you do cover it?
Re: Here's my 120
Good to know.
I know what you mean. Even my super glue gets clogged after a couple ... no matter how careful I am and how neat I try and be.
The purple is the primer. You should use it to make sure the PVC gets a good bond with cement. I know alot of people don't use it because it's just another step.
Re: Here's my 120
Bax what do you use when placeing your SPS into the tank? Glue? or Apoxy? or something else? Also when you place your SPS how far apart did you originaly put them?
Your tank/pictures look great. Keep up the good work.
My whole sytem is running at 76 average. It goes from 75.5 at night to 76.5 at 6 or 7pm. I waited before I could maintain that temp before I ordered the horses. It didn't take much. I just had to reset my heater to turn on at a lower temp and add some fans to my sump as a DIY chiller and hook it...
Pretty good. It's got 2 Reidi Seahorses in there and a little yellow clown goby. It's a good place to keep all the coral that don't fit in my other tank. Also the begining of my ricordea collection.
I'm going to take some pictures on Sunday and Monday... for the POTM and to update my tank...
I'm glad it worked out... I have a diamond and mine has jumped out of the water (not the tank.. just out and back into the water) a couple of times .. Good luck with him, it's an interesting fish.
I had a Sargassum Trigger jump .... Twice!!!
The first time he jumped while I was playing video games right next to my tank. Scared the you know what out of me and the second time I was at work and came home to find him the same way you described .. dry and dusty.
Sorry to hear it tho.
