Does anything eat them. Not pineapple, they are not a problem. I have this other sponge that looks like roots from a tree. It was ok in the sump, but now I have it in my DT. Supposedly exposing them to air kill them, but it's a bit hard taking out big chunks of live rock
I just saw the dotty, chomp a tentacle off my cleaner shrimp- it's got to go- moving day tomorrow. I bought it because it was yellow- now it's mostly brown, and not aggressive or territorial like other dottys'- chased a flasher wrasse out of the tank- free to anyone- I'll deliver locally
Current promotion- spend $189 and get a cleaner shrimp for $10- free shipping on $129- but it seems like all the fish I'm interested in are always out of stock- there's also a box charge and an extra fee for fish to the 'free shipping'
Anyone heard of it? I just watched a video, sounds great, but expensive- $400.00

I can't access the website using Chrome, but am able to get on with Edge, anyone else having the same issues, or maybe it's just my computer- I did just install a new antivirus
I have magnets and a long handle razor blade scraper to take care of the algae. The magnet works fine on the front glass, and the razor does fine on the back, but I have an in tank acrylic sump. I've been using the magic eraser, and it's fine too. I also get some algae on the rocks and have been...
I moved some smaller fish from 2 other tanks- chromis, blennies, a watchman, damsels. Since it's really not big enough for tangs I was thinking about multiple wrasses- have a pair of pin tails on order, would adding another wrasse work- maybe a coris? Suggestions?
I watch the new Magnum PI and there's a tank behind the bar in most episodes, which is great, but it's bleached coral with jus a few fish. I get it, background and it's a set, so not permanent, but it would be nice to see an actual reef tank in a tv show or movie
Have you done it- I'm considering it- a pink damsel- the Fiji devil keeps it to one end of the tank- but no fish will go near that end all gravitate to the other end or the middle
I'll be putting together an order for a cuc for the 75g- I already have a cleaner shrimp- noticed that reefcleaners offers smaller, non descript ones- has anyone ever bought these? Thinking about the 40b or the 13g
I've bought from several different ones in the past and never had any problems- some I paid extra for shipping just to get the fish I wanted - other times I got free shipping if I spent $129-$150 I just found an offer from reefvirus.com for 35% off and free shipping on $150- one order will fill...
I got my 75g up and running- will keep the corals to softies, am thinking about adding a dwarf angel- anyone have any input-Thinking about a flameback or maybe a bicolor
I'm combining a 29cube and a 30g and moving the fish, rock, coral to a 75g. My first miss was thinking that the rock would take up space for water- yes and no- it will, but the 75 has to be up and running- so unless there's enough water in the tank first... I'll have to take water out later-...
I got the 75g filled, added live sand and ran just a powerhesd for a day, next I added foam pads to the sump and the clarifier that came with the sand, it's clears up a bit, but when I remove the foam to clean, it starts all over again- tank looks like milk- should I remove the foam all together...
