Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
I didn't know where else to post this, so I'm posting this here:
We have a fairly good amount of hot peppers that needs to be harvested before the frost kills them off. If anyone like hot peppers, please let me know, and we'll be more than happy to bring them with us to the meeing. FREE, of...
Candi, thank you so much for the hugs. One can never get enough of those - seriously. And thank you for the well wishes, too.
And Phil, I hear you - loud and clear. :)
Ok, even though our next vet visit isn't until tomorrow morning, I felt an update was in order, especially since Simon's been...
ROFLMAO Priceless! Too cute.
BUT - she's wearing the wrong colors. I mean, I'm thrilled they won, because now if the Giants lose, we're still in second place. :D

The article made me sad and mad at the same time.
WHAT is wrong with these people? That dog must not be put down for doing his job.
The landscaper, OTH ........ never mind.

Are you serious? You've got them, too now? :o I am so sorry.
Well, my first treatment is done. I dosed with just a little under 1/2 pill last night. Removed all carbon, filter sock, and placed the tubing of the skimmer in the sump, but left it running.
Interceptor went in at 6:00PM and I didn't...
Thanks a million. I need it, too.
I'll keep you all updated as I go along.
Tonight's definitely the night the Interceptor is going in. I am quite nervoes.
I've also managed to pull out 2 more hermits.

I got my sand from TFJ Pet Center. GREAT price, and I'm sure they'll work with you if you need that much. :) Oh, and they're in Toms River.

Progress Report:
Managed to set up the Eclypse last night with heater, power head, and 2 small rocks from my fuge. I used 3/4 of display water to fill and filled the rest with premixed saltwater.
Made the trap.
Critters caught by either hand and/or trap:
Cleaner Shrimp (he was easy, he came...
Thank you all very, VERY much.
In the meantime I picked up the Interceptor, went to the pet shop and purchased LOTS of carbon, and they lent me an Eclipse Tank for the inverts that I'll hopefully be able to catch (starting tonight).
Tom, your phone should ring momentarily. ;)

Oh...
Thanks so much, Phyl.
I am not planning on starting treatment today. Perhaps even not until Saturday, in hopes of rescuing more critters. The salt water is already made since I do my regular water changes on Friday. Strangely enough I made a huge batch (about 25 gallons).
I may take you up on...
Merv, I think I'm going to dose with just a little over 1/4 pill. I have a 75 gallon display and a 30 gallon sump. Of course the sump isn't filled, and of course I have to deduct rocks, too, but I figure I "should" be ok if I do a little more than 1/4 pill.
And how do I shut the air supply off...
Thank you both for getting back to me so fast. I've called my vet and will be out the door shortly to pick up the Interceptor.
What "carbon" do you guys recommend? Anything in particular?
I'm afraid I won't be able to catch my coral banded shrimp, my 2 peppermint shrimp, and my Sally Lightfoot...
I'm about to have a stroke. I believe I have red bugs. >:( Here is the picture, I can't blow it up any bigger without completely distorting it.
<insert highly explicit language here>
I already called my vet because my dogs are on Heartguard Plus instead of Interceptor. ::)
Can someone please...
Thanks Phil. I had to wait about 2 minutes or so because each time it was starting to open again and sensed movement from above it would close right back up. Having my arms up over the tank all that time didn't help my attempt to be perfectly still while snapping pictures. :-[

Thank you both very, very much.
Mike, I tried taking a photo from above, but my hands were shaking. :-[
Here it the "above" picture. Valium anyone? (<--joke)

When my actinics came on in my tank this morning I nearly choked up. My baby Maxima was gone! :o The only thing remaining was some pretty yucky looking stuff. I probably should have never picked up a 1" Maxima to begin with, especially since I've read that their survival rate isn't all that good...
The vet called me about 45 minutes ago. Been celebrating since. :)
Everything indicates that his results were due to his open sebaceous cysts. NO cancerous cells were detected.
We'll make a decision regarding his wound next Tuesday, when we go for the follow-up.
Today was a GOOD day.
