EDIT: I dont mean all fish have the disease on the outside but they mostly all have it as a host. It will lay dormat with proper nutrition and care and can even die off. Clownfish all have brookneyla (sp) as a host carrier but with proper care and QT it can often never show up.

All fish have ich in them but you can boost their immune system with selcon or garlic extreme so that they can fight it off on their own. Adding copper to your tank as they said has lasting affects.

Renee im sorry but your clown maybe getting very old. In your care for 12 years means its probably 14 - 15 years old. He may just be getting some alzhiemers. Anemones can live for a long time.

Do you have a pic? im guessing most likely haddoni and it might be getting aggrresive or your clowns may no longer want to host it. It may have tried to eat it or stung it too much. Pics would be good. and 12 years thats awsome

Frist What kind of anemone do you have and how big. Consider this Althought its very helpful to the hobby that they propogate anemones. I dont think this a very good way of doing it. It causes alot of stress in the animals and can sometimes cause death if the body does not fuse together...

Most fish can make sounds i believe. There is one fish that can do like a drum sound. Clownfish snap thier jaws repeatadly. Late at night i can hear my female snapping at the male. Im gonna see if i find an underwater Mic. Ill let you know.
