Good idea, but we should do it locally, maybe Kevin knows of a good source. I know Tony's Baltimore Grill in AC makes a great pie, but I don't think they deliver. I'll chip in.

As far as the UV is concerned, you might consider the fact that you will have to clean it fairly often, and replace the lamp at about 6 month intervals. You'd be surprised how much volume is in 50#'s of Pukani. But, you will have to etch and cure it before you use it.

The use of "red slime removers" will work, i.e. chemiclean, but if you don't resolve whatever caused it in the first place, it will simply keep reoccurring.

A little hard to see, but the small snail might be a Collubelid snail (harmless), or maybe a stomatella, and the other is probably a vermetid snail (harmless).
