i hate the calcium test so much. i just use the red sea one and i only really test my calcium at the beginning of a tank and sporadically test here and there. i dont worry about calcium at all unless there is something really wrong with my tank.

too many steps for me but I hear people saying its not that bad, honestly though I don't really chase nitrate unless my salifert test is on the high end of the color card.
