Prime and copper don’t mix. Not sure if it lingers on sponges. It should disappear over time so. I would say it’s okay for now. But once copper is on the system do not use prime. You can keep Fish in copper for 30 days. But remember it’s a poison so he longer they stay the more toxic it...
