Does anyone have the Windows XP installation disks? My family PC is not working and some XP files I think are corrupt. I will not install XP; just need to copy two files: NTLDR and NTDETECT.COM
Thanks,
Mark
Well this is what my tank looks like after dosing Vodka, water changes, and Phosban. Is there away to remove the green algae other than scrubbing the rocks? Or should I leave it be? This hasn't grown but decreased a tiny bit. Any suggestions welcome, pics below.

Was thinking about adding a Lyre tail Anthias to my 75g. Any opinions on them. I know they are aggressive towards one another but would two be okay? Or should I just forget about them.
Thanks

Has anyone seen this product or used it? Just wondering if it is any good.

It’s been about three weeks dosing vodka. I noticed last night that a large snail I had was dead, shell completely empty. I don't keep them because I always had problems. This was a hitch hiker on something I bought a few months back and was doing fine. Could the Vodka have caused its death? I...
Well I started dosing Vodka today. I added 0.1ml per 25 gallons for a total of 0.3ml for the entire system. I am keeping a log and will let everyone know how bad or good it goes. Wish me luck.

My nitrates are testing at about 35ppm. I know I need to do a water change to lower it. I did a 10g one a few days ago. I need to make more RO water which I do outside and with this rain won't happen soon. My question is should I use tap water or wait until I get more RO made?

I have an old Berlin classic skimmer that needs a pump. It is free to NJRC members. It is missing the hoses that drain back into the sump. I used two pieces of I had laying around.
Well after that Berlin skimmer issue I had discovered some losses. Rest in piece:
Cap frags- purple, green and orange
Flower anemone
Candy canes
eagle eye zoo frag
Green bubble coral (only a few tips left)
pavona (won in March raffle)
battle scarred purple tang (Second fav fish) :'(
My berlin skimmer stoppped skimming but water is pumping through. I acquired another skimmer but not sure where the pump goes. I put it in a 10g tank with fresh water to test it. I have 2 pics one unplugged and one plugged in to see the water flow. Is this the correct setup? the company website...
I obtained a skimmer from REEFLECTIONS. It is an AIS 250 from Aquatic Life Systems. I cannor locate any info on-line about it. I don't want to rip out my current one and put this one in nit knowing anything about it. Anyone ever hear of this skimmer? Tthe web turned up zero data.
Thanks

Well after the couple years of being on this site I learned to be more creative. Here is what I made from a broken plastic hamper and some window screen. Instead of paying $30 used and much more new I used these items I had laying around and built a chameleon cage for the two I have. A 10g...
Okay it's been 3 or 4 weeks now that I stopped running my phosban reactor. However, I noticed the corals were doing better when it was running. That being said does anyone have a cup of phosban I can borrow? I am waiting for the group buy and will replace it then. I can't see spending $20 for a...
I have an engineer goby for a little over a year. It is about 5" long and always hides until feeding time. Came home from work and noticed it out and swimming lazy/clumsy or whatever. I was able to net it out with no resistance. I don't see any physical signs of illness. I put it in a small...
I am going to build a screen cage for a chameleon I recently bought. My question is will thiss wood be good to hold up the fiber mesh? I plan to staple the mesh to rectangle sections and then assemble. Any suggestions welcomed. The wood is Millstead 2 In. x 4 In. x 8 Ft. Pressure Treated Lumber...
I was wondering if anyone can see any downside to this approach. I find that I enjoy the fish more than the coral. Maybe because they just don’t thrive although they do survive. I was considering to get rid of the RR tank and go with a regular tank. I would omit the sump and phosban reactor...
Just curious if anyone ever keep a Lemon Peel Angel in a reef setup? From what I recently read opinions vary. In a reef with caution to not reef safe because they like to nip at LPS, some softies, zoas and clam mantles.
I have had this for about 2 weeks now. When I first put it in I could see feeder tentavles extending at nigh but not much any more. Also the heads were some what with drawn and starting to expand but that also stopped. I moved them to different parts of the tank to have less flow and some more...
