I feel you Sunny. My powder Blue is a SOB but only towards the Hippo. Leaves everyone else alone for the most part. Once in a while it get a little nerve up and tries to have a go at the sailfin or yellow but the fins go up and the Blue goes running.

I noticed it right away. One thing I remember when I had my MP-10's was that the dwarf cerith snail used to always get in there and often lock up the propeller. With the 40's they usually get caught in the cage.
Of course the snails never damaged it, but it was an annoyance nonetheless.

I called them and told them what I needed. I just figured it was avail online as well. Give them a call. Either way the whole wet side is still worth it for the longevity we are getting here.
Had the same thing happen to me. Bought a new magnet and was good as new. All you need is the magnet. The rest of the wet side is fine. It's pretty cheap too on the ecotech site.

Nope. The skimmer is in the sump for a reason. The way I see it the corals got a good dose of nutrients for a few hours. All is back to normal.
My guess it was all the corriline scrapings that messed it up. Really that's all I did, clean and scrape the glass.
