So i have a 180 sps tank with an attached Cal Rx. Ive been using salinity but starting to consider that i dont need it b\c of the Cal Rx. Is this a correct assumption? if so would you recommened switching to IO (assuming the Cal Rx will dose trace elements as well) or Reef Crystals...
My tank has really gotten consistent and stable since I've added a calcium reactor. I would take that over clogged tubes or other mishaps that would happen with the dosing pumps...
I have the SRO 5000 Dual reactor from RO
I have a 5.2 lb bucket of phosguard that i used a cup out of.. I decided to go back to regular gfo

mods please change...
John, once centered over the tank the 6" on either side wouldnt matter... and the lower par on those sides would make it great for accilmating corals and any softies/lps, chalices you want to keep....
Thanks guys. I rather stare at bubble algae then to watch a $5 crab snatch a rhomboid or other expensive wrasse. They are in then sump where they will spend the rest of their existence.
Need some advice. I purchased some emerald crabs to put into my display tank for bubble algae duty. My concern is that they might turn and start picking off my wrasses. The largest crab is 1.5 Inches. Is this legit concer or am I being paranoid.
