Was a little bored today so I figured I'd try to get some pics. Working with an iPhone sucks and they always come so blue. So today I tried with whites only. These pics are taken with only 2 coral plus bulbs, and these are dead on to what i see with all my lights on. Finally I can get real colors.

Keep those emeralds very well fed. They can be quite opportunistic and may grad fish or coral. 10gal is nothing for them to clear.

Normally I don't bother with PH. But I notice the reading on the Apex pretty much everyday. In my case I think it has more to do with the closed house and filtration in the basement then the calcium reactor though. Now Darren, I ask you what is extremely low? The last 2 nights hit lows of 7.65.

Well Since you mentioned it. The pump im having issues with is a Rio HyperFlow 32. I didn't want to mention the name originally cause people tend to blame the easiest thing when something is wrong. Rio is not exactly the top name in pumps.

Jim, your recommendation of a GAC filter in line, would that be a simple as using a small bag of carbon stuffed into the pvc pipe I use?
