    Pool

I would hit the local toys r us and Walmart. Those plastic pools are usually stacked up and shoved in the stock rooms only to return again in the spring. Another thought is some heavy duty tarp and some concrete block to make a pool.

Also to expend on this question a bit more. How can one determine that they are getting the Gyre with the more rugged impeller vs getting the older style impeller?

    Sunny's 350G build (was 150)

I have the same fixture. It's great. I think you will definitely see a slight change with the colors. I did, but def for the better. I use 6 blue+ and 2 coral+ for both my DT and frag tank and I love it. Lots use the purple+ too. I'm not a big fan though. But with 10 bulbs the choices will...

    Jgraz's march to 200DD

Thank you everyone. I've been looking at the tank for a while now, and I knew that the colors were starting to come around a bit. But I was really surprised by some of the top-down colors. Its like a totally different world. I would love to do a low set shallow SPS build, maybe a 48"x36"x18"...

Its about 7" from the surface in direct light. That said, I didn't start seeing this until I started raising my lights higher. My light is currently sitting at about 16" off the surface.
