I purchased 2 of these for my 180 and they are too strong for my tank,. I think they might work as t5 substitutes. If anyone is interested I just want to recoup my cost (one is BNIB and the other one was used for a few hrs)...

Actually the 10s wont even sit on the glass... 1/2 glass is too thick for the 10s.. just found this out yesterday

My WP-40 is creating waves in my 180 by itself (Still setting up electronics. so its the only pump running)... from rim to rim and at W1 and even on low the flow is felt on the other side of the pump. Very impressed....

No actually at the bottom... the fixture sits 2 inches from the bottom of the canopy.... So the canopy will float (attached to the wall) over the tank.. So if i hang it 14 inches off the tank the fixture will be 16 inches off the water
