Lost a 20 and a 10 gal last year in my unheated garage. Both cracked in multiple places. My garage get cold enough to freeze water during the coldest stretches of winter.
I saw this somewhere and decided to give it a try. To scrap down corraline that mag cleaners leave behind, I use a rod from an old set of mini blinds, slightly bent with a small slit in the end to insert a razor into. For heavy cleaning I will put just a small dot of glue to hold the razor for a...
I used to wonder the same thing. But if you look at the heating coil you will notice the jäger is much longer then the same wattage in any other brand. That 150 watt jäger you have has more heating element touching water then that 300w sera. Hence it rates higher.
I think that makes sense. So...
It seems relatively small so any livestock short of what Pete mentioned had the risk of getting tossed with and macro growth or at the very least left with an even smaller area to roam around as macro grows.
IMO I wouldn't put anything but macro in there and let it do its thing. Any life that...
It took me a little over 3 hrs to get there. I sold last year so I just left at 5am and came home later that night.
This year I'm not selling but I figure I'll leave around 7/8 and yep drive home that night.
Through the sump I would figure on right around 4-5x volume. Less is more in my opinion. Give the water more chance to clean up so to speak.
Flow in the DT is another matter. There I believe you want as much as you can handle coral wise.
Just thought I'd throw this link up. Very nice list of vendors coming. Plus when I was there last year some of the nicest stuff was from the hobbyist that aren't even included in the list.

there is a bit of waste but its easily worked around. I had a 90 RR had made it work. I found them useable enough that when it was time to upgrade I went with another RR tank as well.
The standard AGA protrudes about 4.5" or so. But they can be ordered with corner overflows. The Marine land and Deep blue tanks are standard with corner overflows. Or you could drill the AGA and install a glass holes kit or some other type of overflow
That happens to the Koralia propellers a lot. The magnet corrodes and causes the casing to open up. With the koralias it's an easy fix. Just replace the propeller. Maybe you can get a replacement for the jebao for a few bucks. Try it out before you pick up the mp40
Just curious,
If you are considering a standard 90 then you have the 4' wide space available. And if you are also considering the 93 cube then you also have the 24" front to back available. With that said you can def fit a standard 120, 48" x 24" x 24".
IMO get the 120 now and save yourself...
