Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
I don't use a powerhead. I just don't see the point. The amount of water added at any give time is really not enough to effect any thing.
As far as a reservoir you could always go smaller. Maybe a 5gal water jug.
Acro's, acro's, and acro's.
I do believe you already helped me out with a few of those.
Otherwise no particular names or such. Just good looking stuff.
Thank you all for the kind words.
Darren just let me know when you want to swing by.
Yes Tommy, I will indeed be putting a dent in vendors stock. I've been chomping at the bit to get to this swap. I just hope when I do get there I find what I'm searching for.
Thanks Pete and Judeo.
That powder brown is doing great. I put him in when it was dark so there was only a few min of posturing from the yellow and the next day all was well. Beautiful fish.
Thanks Sunny. Good to see you posting again. Hopefully this swap will bring many nice sticks to help her on the way. Sorry we won't see you at the swap though.
Thank you Krysta. You I will see at the swap and hopefully I will remember the food for you.
First, I would decide if its Baltimore or Dallas so to speak. Where ever you decide to go if its close enough you might be able to move everything and set back up rather quickly. If you are loving your system as is, then a short move would be no more stressfull then a tank swap with a bit more...
Same here. Paper towel with hot water then dry paper towel behind it. Never had any streaks. Once in a while I break out a vinegar/water mix if I have some build up on the frame. No worries about the chemicals then.
