Got my mated pair of neon gobies, a couple of coral shrimp, a yellow dotty, an orange spot and green clown gobies, a yellow tail blenny, and a couple of talbot damsels on their way- along with a couple of gorgonians too- I Am Done! ( for now lol)- until you guys have frags to sell ;)
I don't know how many times I've said- that's the last one- coral or fish. Then I get an email that the one I wanted is available again- But I can't justify the shipping cost for just one- by the time I get to checkout my shopping cart is over $100- or I spend another $30-40 so I get free...
I may have asked this before, but is crushed coral ( coarser aragonite ) ok for a orange spot goby- or is it too coarse- do I need a sand substrate. BTW hope everyone enjoyed the show- got some nice stuff/ great deals
As much as I like to buy direct- Kpaquatics dives/ collects in the Caribbean. Many fish I want are from the other side of the world. I'm placing an order with Aquariumfishsale.com tomorrow I know many of you don't live close to Chester NJ- but if you want to add to my order I can qt your fish...
Do over time- I put too much rock in it first time around and went with bare bottom- which I don't like but thought it was the way to go with a narrow tank- for a while I ignored and disliked it ( with my 40B doing so nicely ) I currently have 2 chromis and a falco hawk in the tank- I wanted to...
Got access to a power washer- my rock had been sitting in a shed for about 25 years ( my own ) I power washed it first,, then a bleach solution, then fresh water- I'd also use some sort of copper remover- I knew my rock had never been exposed- but you never know
I've bought 3 day before with no problem with zoas- even in winter- though with heat packs- this time of year packs aren't needed - just insulation from big swings- I actually I have a frag coming tomorrow- I did find you can do overnight priority mail for cheap-with small packages- i got my...
Just wondering if anyone ever bought frags with 3 day shipping. This time of year temps are right around where you'd want them, some bubblewrap will help keep temps from getting too high or low- I would think that the hardier corals- zoas, palys- especially frags with a few heads would ship fine...
I won't be able to go, but hope everyone gets some great deals! And come home to find that they have to make room for all the new corals and then pass on the thinnings at great prices to me :)
