I have no idea. I didn't even know hammer corals did this. I assumed they just branched and that was it. Also there is a light flow getting in there as I do see the arms gently moving. Its pretty much sitting under my powerhead so I'm guessing its getting the undertow from that.
For some reason all my Blue Leg hermits all met up in one spot and either started to fight or get thier ;) on. Just seeing if anyone knows whats going on.

will post video later today.
My hammer "Budded" or something along those lines and I have this small piece as the result. Don't really know how you would go about mounting it. But if you want to give it a try let me know.
Just as a referance its in a shot glass.
Oh ;)
On a different note. Found a new type of asterina star that hitchhiked on a rock I got last night. All the ones in my tank are brown but these are gray with red and black.
Here's the 2 i found
Heres a side by side with one of the original ones.

I did upgrade my skimmer. Now I have Skimmers. Still running the HOB rated for 75gal but also have another one rated for 125 gal. Took about 4 days for the new guy to start working but between the both of them and getting an eel thats a messy eater, they pull some nasty stuff(smells terrible)...
Weekly and about 25gal
Use only RODI water now. The problem popped up when I got back into corals and started to do water changes weekly. When I had a FOWLR it was more like monthly or bymonthly, didn't have any algea, just sponges(EVERYWHERE).
Right Star. Just hope he makes it. Did something I never seen any of my other stars do. Folded up on itself. Now its flattened out so hopefully it makes it. It will be neat to have the huge normal colored chocolate and a normal sized white one.
Small update. Replaced all the small power heads with one 900gph powerjet. Went from a lowflow tank to a high flow tank. Had to do some moving around with the corals. Some were unhappy with the flow and needed to be moved. Also have a tiger sea cucumber but its almost impossible to get a pic of...
