I believe I used lace rock in mine. I don't know if I can help you find any though. I think I got it from Discount Aquarium on RT 73 in Mt. Laurel near the Marlton circle.
Thanks, I had my sump crack yesterday and spent the day putting in a new one. I replaced a 40 long with a 55 and I have to replumb one overflow box because of the added hight.
I have a 6' 125 and the same thing happens. My fish all stay from the middle to the right of the tank. Rarely does anything travel down the left side, besides my scooter blenny that goes wherever it wants. My hippo tang will swim in the open water in the front, but wont enter the rock work on...
If possible check which way the joists are running. I had to move a 125 because it was paralell and only fell on two. When I switched sides of the room it falls on 4. Fixing the giant bow in the floor was not a project I planned on.
Refugium? Skimmer? Do you need those? Just a joke but I've kept a reef tank with out for about 5 yrs now. I don't keep anything that is fragile and have a slightly high nitrate level of 5 ppm. I money permited I would surely have both. Best of luck sounds like a nice set up.
Ive kept mushrooms for over 5 yrs and they've lived through every mistake I've ever made with my tank. An addicate amount of light and OK water parameters and you should be successful. Best of luck.
The shield has taken over best show on TV. Soprano's were OK, but a 50 min episode after this long didn't hook me. Five of the minutes were watching Monopoly. Didn't notice the tat thing, good notice.
Let's see if I could afford the tank I couldn't afford to stock it, do water changes, heat it, cool it, run pumps to move the water, run the lights, or make a spot in my house strong enough to hold it.
Even if they pop off all the water is still directed in the tank the way I've had it for the past few months. Just added them for a little more versatility.
To switch or not to switch. I need a drink. I havn't touched the rock in my tank for 2 years. I remember how bad my back hurt the last time I did it. It's going to be a long night. Thanks for the reply, I think I'm going to move some of it around and watch it turn again.
Had a collapse today and need a quick awnswer to fix tonight. I have nice corline pieces on top and front and I was wondering if I switch them with my base rock if they will die off or stay covered. Should I keep my outside rock on the outside or can I move it inward to put some of the base rock...
