5-6 stage with the full size canister for di resin. some models come with the smaller tubes for di. I found I had to change them too often. I got mine from filterdirect.com rd102 unit and added another canister for di.
It looks to me (the corals you mentioned) actually do better under slightly dirty water.
acropora is another story. I had similar things happen to me and all the aforementioned corals thrived. however my sps bleached out shrunk and died. :'(

Ive had him about 6 months.
I have no problem with losing that forum but on a side note, anything I ever sold was for a loss of what I paid for it.and most if not all things sold after takin into account what is spent in this hobbie is sold at a loss + it helps those that need equip.ect. purchase it for far less money.
I'm planning on switching mine out also.
run 4x4 2 ft wider than the tank. brace with 2x4's on either end. then you can take center braces out.replace sump. redo the braces.

don't use cheap extention cords! even for light loads. happen to be by my tank when the cord lit up. phew. it must have gotten wet even with a loop.burnt the plug for my air pump.
started with reef crystals.not bad but left a brown film on sides of bucket. went to seachem reef salt.had to dose too much other stuff. now tropic marin pro.better. but way expensive. my next test is brightwell neomarine salt.
I rolled my first tank and didn't like the stipple it left so I brushed the next one and liked it better having said that' within 6 months it was covered with coraline algae and I cant even tell its painted. but it looked good during that transition.
