Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
BM just quit production of the models with the atman. I don't find that the atman is a problem. I had a nac 3.5 before and loved it. I think I'm gonna just wait out a SWC 120 or check out the BM curve series.
What I would do is when you have your numbers where you want them. Don't dose anything else. Check it the same time the following day. That will give you an idea of how much uptake you have. Then set the dosers to administer that much. Then check again for the next several days. And adjust if...
I have the SC65 which is now the 301. It's the one I'm looking to replace. I plan on getting my son a bigger tank soon and want a skimmer that can handle it. I might just go skimmerless on the tank for a while and see how it goes.
These two

Both say 220 to 240v
Has anyone ordered from there. I'm looking out for a new skimmer for my nano and like the prices even after shipping. My question is there anything I need to be concerned with when it comes to the electrical cord. I want to make sure I can plug it in. Thanks in advance.

My tank booms with them. Everywhere all sizes and colors. Between them and the colonista snails that are quite prolific I rarely need to replenish my CUC.
The most discouraging thing I had to go through was the STN of my Acro's, which ultimately lead to the loss of 95% of them including several large colonies. The reason? Don't know, though I can trace it directly back to two things. The addition of dosing pumps added to make my life easier, and a...
Heard good things about the doser. That's the one I was gunning for but my wife got me the BRS ones instead. If you need RO line let me know. I have a ton in different colors.
If you are going to use the gal jug as dosing canister you could use a piece of RO tube. It's a bit stiffer so it won't curl up. I didn't have the space for them so I got some dosing canisters that work well.
Take some salt and dissolve it in water. It really that easy. Takes me about 5 min to make a gal of each. The soda ash may take a little mixing to dissolve it tends to crystallize, but will eventually break down on there own. I've been using the BRS stuff but will be switching to DIY soon.
