Very interesting read and I couldn’t agree more. My tank will be three years in November and I’ve struggled mightily starting with dry rock and no sand. With the algae finally subsiding I think I’m rounding a corner. Nutrients are stabilizing and the coral are finally starting to color up and grow.

That’s pretty impressive for only 37% output. Can you share your schedule? I just ordered 3 for my 6’ 120 gallon and looking at settings for the lights.

I use the Red Sea salt, it’s not the best but it’s pretty good and affordable.

That stinks to hear, I’ve only had to send mine once. Overall I’m not impressed at all with the build quality but it does make life much easier.

I’m hopefully finally on the tail end of a GHA outbreak and have been leering my phosphates by using GFO and Tropic Marin’s Elimi-Phos at half the recommended dosage. Each week I’m having to remove less algae manually and the corals are starting to look better.

I was having trouble with a “No water sample” error for the longest time and put a ticket in. Turned out the light wasn’t working that reads the sample and I sent it out for the lower end repair service. Came back 2 weeks later running like new.

I’m looking to upgrade to an IM 200EXT tank next year and looking to these for my lighting but not sure if I should get the Pro’s or the Duo’s and turn the Duo’s perpendicular. I’m a bit confused because it seems that the Duo’s have less output than the Pro’s.

All of the fish i had prior are doing great as well, including the other 3 fish i received. Fingers crossed there's no more losses.

I spoke too soon as well. I left on Friday afternoon for a weekend trip and came back Sunday night to the orange shoulder tang dead and stuck to the powerhead.

I received mine on Tuesday. All of the fish looked very healthy

They responded and told me to order and pick local pickup for shipping and in the notes tell the to add it to my order.

I placed an order Friday night during the midnight sale but would like to add a coral beauty to the order. I emailed them but not sure they’ll get the email in time.

I dosed kalk through a Kalk stirrer and found it widely inconsistent as well. Not until I started dosing saturated kalk did I start getting extremely stable test results.

Were you able to reverse it?
