f.w.i.w. has anyone ever notice how much light egg crate reflects back out of the tank? any light that hits your walls and ceiling is light that is not hitting your corals. for this reason alone, i think mesh is a better choice. i just wanted to share my experience and opinion.

i've been in contact with mark (madreefer). he lives in union beach. his town was desimated. entire sections lost, houses destroyed, piles of timber, or in some cases moved into the middle of streets intact. unfortualely he took on water... pretty much ruined the down stairs of his house...

we made out ok in middletown. somehow i took on no water when my unfortunate neighbors all around me did. i have a generator that i'm using to run my fridge, tv and alternating between my boiler and fish tank. i'm so sorry for all my fellow reefers that were forced to watch the unspeakable...

well, the "jelly" came back, so last night i took the coral out, and cut arond the affected area. fingers crossed

i'll know when i get home from work today... hoping for the best
