If you end up not finding any quality live local, Marco rocks sells nice ocean aquaculture live rock. Ends up being about $16 per pound shipped, maybe cheaper in bulk I don’t know. I ordered a seeding package of it and it was nice quality rock.

I run a hydros with a pinpoint ph probe. It's been rock solid for last 6 months. I check it and calibrate once in a while but it hasn't deviated much at all. No idea about salinity because it requires me to either purchase an additional X4 or Launch to get that option. I don't see the value...

I saw a video somewhere that said the jebao wet side works with ecotech dry side. Ecotech really shot themselves in the foot with their pricing.

No issues. Have to set the time calibration to utc -4 and it works perfectly. I bought mine from joker corals for $250 shipped. You can get it cheaper on Ali baba. I didn’t go that route in case it sucked and I wanted to return or worst case challenge payment with amex.

Haven’t tried them yet but I will. I am using a fake radion (A8) over my qt tank and it’s been great. I honestly can’t tell the difference between the fake and the radion g6 pros.

3 months is prime time for cyano, even with live rock. Keep the nitrates higher and you should see the cyano clear faster. 10-15ppm. Getting below 5 in a new tank seems to make it worse. I used get cyano all the time in tanks after the first couple of months running lower nutrient. My last 2...
