Whenever I fragged mushrooms in the past you always had to have a piece of the mouth on both pieces. Why would these be different

You could use black acrylic and make it round so it just looks like a bigger washer on the bulkhead I don’t think that would look too bad I think the acrylic rod will get full of Coraline and eventually take away from the luck of floating rock work

I think you could put a 5” x5” piece of acrylic on the outside of the glass to help spread the point load out then you would be fine

There’s a lot to do when making a swap, it’s better to have the new tank up and running before you swap if possible. Luckily there are a pile of great Reefers on this site who will help in different ways. Either with advice, Equiptment, and even physical help it was smart to be apart of this...

Yea just tested the water For the first time in four months and seems my nitrates have gone down to less than two and my phosphates are at .04 on the ultra low range so this could be why

I also believe this to be true, seems to do better when the water is a little higher in nutrients, right now i have to clean my glass every two or three days so i know im a little lower. I was cleaning the glass every other day. target fed last night and probably gonna feed twice a week to start
