Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
So I was in Trop this past week and they have the video playing from Red Sea about setting up one of their all in one tanks. They get to the part about filling it and then mixing the salt in and say ALWAYS put the water in first and then mix the salt in. Now I have always done it the oppositve...
Here is the info from Tyree's webpage:
The first Reeffarmers Limited Edition soft polyp coral is the Captain America palythoa polyp from World Wide Corals. This is an amazing medium sized polyp that contains an incredible array of pigments. There are orange/reds, pinks, dark blues, bright blues...
I will be donating two poyps of Tyree LE Captain Americas Paly for the meeting. If you are on the fence of coming, hopefully this puts you over. I want to see how many people we can get into Rods house at once.
There is a restaurant in Wall NJ called Shogun Legends that has been up for about a year or so. It is very good Japanese food with two level, a hibachi restaurant upstairs and fine dining downstairs. Why would I bring this up to the club? They have a MASSIVE salt water fish tank in the middle of...
We found a hitch hiker crab running one of our cycling tanks and we really don't want him. He is about 1/4 inch and a cute little guy, anyone want him?
If you read our other post you know we still do not have power and moved everything we could out of our tanks. I have a few questions for those out there when our power does come back on
The tanks are sitting stagnant about half full with live rock and sand in them. We left a bunch of inverts...
As many of you know, we lost power around 10 30 pm Wednesday and we still do not have it back on. We live on the second floor over a business and are just renting. I had a dremel and drill charged just in case to provide water movement in our tanks (12g 20g 30g) and felt pretty good if we lost...
I came across an article (granted it is pretty old) with an interview with Rommel who is know for his insane corals. In the article he says he uses T5s over all of his frag tanks. He also gives some info on the rest of his equipment.

Was in there last night and they got in about 15 tanks raised cardinals. The 25% sale is still going on. They also got in some helfrichi firefish, blue spot jawfish and a gold heart trigger. They have not had tank raised bangaii's in about 2 years so if you are looking for them they are there.

Alright boys and girls time to pull up to the computer with a nice drink and adjust the tin foil on your head, because it is conspiracy theory time. We just found our dracula goby carpet surfing, he joins our blue spotted jawfish in heaven as our other carpet surfing fish. Also we had a Grade A...
So to keep ourselves entertained until we setup the 57g the wife decided to buy a pico tank. We really did not know what we wanted to do with it and were just going to leave it in the box until people started to get panda gobies in. We have always wanted them but being so small they would get...
