We're up and running guys. Thanks for the offers. I have been planning a switch to a basement sump. My wife just told me that before I do that I should get my hands on a generator of some type for at least the tank.

I was there eariler this year. I really had my hopes up for that place and was very disappointed in the care lvl. I don't think I'll ever go back. TFP is one that I need to get to though.

Don, if for some reason you go with a small 10gal tank I have a 4x18" T5 that you can use. It fits perfectly on the lip of the tank. Basically covers the whole top. That way it also keeps hands out as well. Just let me know I can bring it on Saturday.

I think you could effectively grow out in a section of the sump. However, you would need more flow. Like jpelzer stated the flow going one way may be an issue. If I can make a suggestion, decide how much room you want to dedicate to grow out and seperate it from the macro area. One thing you...

As the title says Im looking for the ReefTech Starburst cap monti and mystic sunset monti. Also looking for other monti's preferably plating types for now. This is a tough one buy lets add Toxic Spill Montipora to the list also. Thanks

It's powered by the transformer that the pump runs off. I also have a pressure switch that hooks up to it also. I don't use it yet though. That would automatically shut down the system when the pressure builds, like when the topoff valve shuts.

Oh my she clearly not happy with you guys. Edwin, you were not kidding about the size of the stand. I agree with Paul, a 75 would be perfect. That would give you plenty of room for a large fuge and more then accept the volume of water from the drain down. And you'd still have plenty of room...
