I know usually zoas/palys will extend more the farther they are from the light.

That is normal because of the white balance set for the older setting. You should try to add some blue into that image to see if it produces the wanted results.
Hey all, I was just curious if you guys do anything to get your individual polyp size bigger. Not talking about growth of the entire colorny, more like if I want to try to push a small polyp to get bigger (like fruit loops/hornets etc).

After you do that, take one with a new white balance of pure blue. Don't think it will work since the white board will look completely blue.
I think my best bet is to just shoot raw with a awb and then mess with settings.

So the purpose of this thread, is to figure out how to get the best true to life shot of a reef under blue LEDs. Are there any tips/tricks you recommend to get the best look?

Thanks man. So far so good with the ATS. Just kind of annoying having to clean it out weekly lol. It won't hurt your system at all. If you have the cash, go for it. Just make sure you stay on top of it since issues can happen with clogs/leaks.
