Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
I can come Thursday around noon, but if you need it gone sooner I completely understand someone else closer being able to get the quicker.

This is the abbreviated version off their website (below that is link to their website, lots of info there):
The EcoSystem Method — the small EcoSystem filter used in the 14-gallon MINI — has been in use since 1994. This filtration method has three functions in the reef aquarium. First, it is a...
After doing some reading on the Eco system's miracle mud I've decided to give that theory a try - I'll try anything that's a lower maintenance way of keeping a reef tank.
I got the Mr. Aqua 25g low iron tank. Ordered a piece of black acrylic and used the rest from scrap pieces lying around...
I like LPS and have frogspawn, hammer, and torch. The usual beginner stuff like green star polyps, Kenya tree, leathers and some no name zoas. I'd like to try and get into SPS and some higher end zoas. What kind of corals are you in to?
The other clown is smaller, and they don't bother each other ever. The YWG is bigger than the clown. And I can't figure out why this clown ALWAYS is over by the YWG. He does this sideways swim in front of him many times a day. It's almost like he's wanting to mate or something. Weird

It's a 57g, with 2 small clowns, 2 chromis, a yellow tang and Pygmy angel. Oh and 2 yellow watchman gobies and a sharknose goby. All but the tang are really small, but I wouldn't consider it a light bio load. I've tried keeping the skimmer higher and lower. I like the idea of having it on...
So my tank has been set up since April this year. And after the initial cycle I've had no detectable nitrates, or nitrites for that matter. I mean zero. My skimmer has been running this whole time but it never skims much of anything. I have tried raising the skimmer in the sump area...
Temp in sump is 79 - just like display. The return pump is submerged, in the middle chamber of the sump. I can't remember the brand off hand.
I've got some cleaner crew arriving soon. So I'll plan on tossing a few crabs in there. Thanks

I just want to check in and see if there's anything bad growing in there. I don't have any snails in there because I'm worried about them escaping into the return area and getting into the pump. So algae grows rampant, I'm hoping that's okay. I'm thinking of adding a couple blue leg hermits to...
