    LFS you shop at

I really don't do much shopping.....too many corals and same with fish....short of losing a couple fish a couple months ago. My go-to places are ACC, AO, and OG2. I'd include Fang's, but I haven't been there since he's moved.......I was there, but he wasn't!

    Question about manifold

I'm not sure I'm following you....you want to tee or wye off your drain and then run that through "something?" Drains are passive (gravity fed), and you might have an issue running that flow through a reactor or whatever.....insufficient pressure. I just built my first...

    Mean clownfish

Not surprised. Clown fish are Damsels......mean fish. I think you picked a good solution in putting her in isolation until she hopefully calms down.

    In Search Of Manifold Valve

Thanks Marcus.....that's it, but needs to be 1/2 inch. I thought I found it at Grainger, but after reading the specs, the Quick Connect side is 1/4"......poo! (Also found it with 3/8 QC.) FYI, a 90 elbow valve would work as well.

    In Search Of Manifold Valve

Thanks Joe.....but what you raised is my issue. I can't fit that conventional Murlock (Quick Connect) valve along with two adapters on either side of the valve....between the manifold and reactor. So I'd have this valve: and two of these connectors to tie into the reactor and manifold...

    In Search Of Manifold Valve

I'm looking for a 1/2" ball valve with a quick connect on one side and male pipe thread on the other. Basically this fitting, but with a valve in the middle: I have a very tight space off my manifold and can not fit the quick connect adaptor, and then the valve....it all has to be one to...

JBJ Metal Halide Hood - $40 - Sayreville

Also realize @Army_Recruiter7 that it is metal halide, and will require a chiller. I too have never heard of anyone using a JBJ hood on a BioCube. I've got to believe it wouldn't fit.

Dan, I work on most Sundays, and will be leaving my house at about 10:45AM, and returning at about 5:15 - 5:30PM. If you wish to come before or after these times, that's fine with me. The other options are: 1. Club Meeting - I'm trying my darnest to make this months meeting at Mark's...

    Inherited 90

New Pump Arrangement for New Saltwater Since I've switched out my MAG return pump for a DC Waveline, I now have three MAG 9.5's sitting around. I'm still planning on using the MAG's as backups for the Waveline, but I really don't need all three......I better not! I'm currently using...

    Inherited 90

Joe, I couldn't agree more about the use of unions....you can never have too many unions. However, I have a rather unique situation.......Two reasons. 1. My backup pump is a MAG 9.5 that would not have enough flow to run the return and manifold (this could probably be argued.).....and I...
