I did all the cutting on the stile and the canopy and stand and glued and screwed the face frame together. I'm going to like this! Here it's just resting in place.
Now, should I start building the box, or the doors? I'm afraid if I build the doors first, I'll call it done....it does...
Equipment Cabinet - Finally!
If you go back to my very first post in this build thread, I posted a "to-do list," and number one on that list was to build the equipment cabinet.....that post is dated November 29, 2010. I'm just getting around to building it now, over five years later. In...

In the upper right corner area there is a button. "Post New Thread."
Click on that and you're good to go.
The tax collector got you! They use to serve and protect. Now they ticket and collect.
My wife got a ticket for a crack in her windshield....in Franklin. I already had the appointment for the replacement, but the cop didn't care. Ticket...obstruction of vision.
Paul, you're old school....when we use to get rotors and drums turned by our local machinists. Now you simply buy new rotors (or drums) and throw the old ones out. I just did my Ford truck with new hubs (old school I would have put in new races), bearings, rotors, and brakes. Cost less...

You being Mr. IceCap, I figured you still have these sitting around.

EDIT TO ADD: Just clicked on dougc and according to our website, he's 95 years old....so we better get down there real quick! :D
I'm assuming the birthdays didn't...

Otherwise looking good.
Door Attachment

For hingeless doors I first made a jig to drill two holes in the shelf of the stand and the bottom of the doors...
I'm not sure if it's a plumber's nightmare or a Rube Goldberg....but either way, it's looking good Paul.
It's one thing if this was done 20 years ago or so when copper was cheap, but I'm now probably looking at $40-$50 in copper alone!
That's just my two cents, but I can see you've already...
I know it's been a while, but I'm finally getting around to finishing up this stand. Cut and assembled the four doors....simple framed, flat paneled doors. Got to love that Kreg pocket hole jig, makes assembly a snap.
After rounding off the outside edge and cutting the dado (a grove)...
