Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
There are some things you just don't want to know. My wife pays the bills, so I have no idea. However, I know it's a lot better now then it was a couple years ago. I originally ran T5s and a skimmer with a MAG 24. These two pieces of equipment drew 480 watts and 265 watts, respectively...
Believe it or not, coral theft isn't an issue in FLA, maybe because of the strict penalties.....I think only 5 or 6 arrests in the past 20 years.
The penalties for illegally taking coral in Florida are:
First offense: Second-degree misdemeanor, which is up to $500, 60 days in jail, or both...
I'm going to repeat myself.....Sunny's 180.....currently a fowlr with everything. Here's what is in his add:
AGA reef ready 180G Tank
RJAquatics stand and canopy (elite) - Canopy is 15 inches tall and stand is 36 inch tall. They are cherry. Canopy opens from front and top.

I'm scratching my head on this one. I was always under the impression that the restrictor was matched to the gph membrane you have. My guess is that they sent you a restictor that is adjustable by snipping off some of its length. I think you did the right thing using the one already dialed...
I'm not sure what pump you have, but I have the Aquatec 8800 where you can adjust the pressure from an allen screw on the top of the pump. Opening the flush valve just doesn't sound right.
I have to agree that a MAG 3 would be ideal. Just used RC's Head Loss Calculator and making some guess with elbows and height, came up with 240 gph. The MAG 7 with same height and elbows was at 414. If you still wish to use the MAG 7, I would not put a valve directly on the return line...
I'm not quite sure what you are looking for, but Aquahub (www.aquahub.com) sells all ATO stuff. If you are looking for the entire control, they sell kits. If you are simply looking for a relay, they have all that. Hope this helps.
Whenever my wife and I travel, time permitting, we like to visit the local aquariums. We spent Christmas week in the Phoenix, Arizona area and visited the local aquarium in Tempe. The Sea Life Aquarium is owned an operated by a UK corporation, which owns multiple aquariums around the world...
I do not shop; period; end of story.
However, my wife informed me that I got her a nice necklace....most likely from Ford's Jewlery. She's on a first-time bases with them considering that I've bought quite a gifts for her. FYI, I don't even know where Ford's Jewlers is located.
My wife...
Mine are old Apollo's that did not have adjustment capability.....I think 55 3 watt LEDs running at a total of 120 watts total. But again, 20 kelvin...so very blue...with aproximalely half the LEDs being blue.
Actually I just counted....30 blues and 25 predominantly white ( I have a few...
You really can't use watts with LEDs. It might get you in the ballpark, but it really boils down to wavelengths and what is usable light for the corals......that is, PAR. Just like we use test kits and instruments to measure our water, we need to use PAR meters to measure the lights. I'm...
