Pretty much finished up. Needs to be pumped out a few times to clear the water a bit more. In total there is a lot 13,000-15,000gph running through there.

    Ponds

Not great pictures but I had to share. Got to see this amazing pond at a bbq after the job I'm helping work on. For scale it's 65'x65' and the depth varies from 3' to almost 9' in some spots. Estimated at around 120,000 gallons and an estimated 300 tons of rock.

    Ponds

Thanks man. It's a clients pond. Don't have one of my own. It's my personal favorite of the ones I put in and maintain. It's roughly 2500g with a 20' stream and 2 waterfalls.

New Tank - New to the Hobby - I Need Your Input.

I would suggest looking through some build threads on here and seeing what tanks you like and would like your tank to look like. Then take some cues from what the person has done. I would say the 2 biggest things not to "skimp" on are lights and a skimmer. Welcome to the club and best of luck!!!

    Weekend plans?

What you can try is giving it a good cleaning and full water change just be sure to acclimate fish back carefully. Once clean get some aquatic plants hyacinths are a good choice but do not make it over the winter. They 1 use up nutrients similar to macro in a fuge and 2 create shade helping...
