On the kalk, I found mixing and dosing to be a pain. It really helped my tank stability, so I moved to a stirrer. It’s a world of difference, cleaner and easier. You can use a timer or controller to manage the pump, and you’ll only have to refill it every few weeks or so. Good luck!

If you guys want to use peroxide, you should consider an oxydator. I wouldn't run a tank without it.

I love the Kessil lights too. Are you getting the same par and coverage from one unit?

They are delicate-ish, which is fine because they're inexpensive. You'll have a couple that make it long term, while replacing others in 3-6 months. I put 10-15 at a time in my 50 gallon frag tanks. They are a great clean up crew, but can get munched pretty easily, especially while molting...
