I picked this up from someone breaking down his tank last fall and used it as a temp holding tank. It's an AIO 30 gallon rimless. it's made by someone local and I cant recall who made it. not in the best condition since the previous owner removed some teeth on the back panel as pictured. Either...
this tank is incredibly heavy, couldn't really get it to one side and have it soak like I would like I may have to just keep spray vinegar on it for a week lol
got the ABS bottom on, made a little mess with the rtv but I'll scrap it off once it cures.
scaping this week. making progress.
but might have to leave for Chicago soon for work. ugh..
any recommendations on hard water stains? tried citric acid, vinegar and Mr clean pads and still won't...
yeah thats what im hoping it would do, i'll see how bad or not bad it is when water is running.
I thought about flex, but couldn't find a blue to match and to save time just went with the silicone tubing. I can always change it up if the find the flow is really being hindered
I was finally able to find some time to get it plumbed! I just need to do something about the silicone tubing kink on the bend.
just need to do the scape and we should be getting wet!
haha, slow but steady.
have you tested your phosphates by any chance? its a fairly new tank so swings in PO4 and NO3 will happen constantly and you can find yourself in a situation were PO4 and NO3 ratio is out of wack. If PO4 is extremely low or non-existent this can cause NO3 to sky rocket and stay there.
I have a classic and Jr. both will work well. if I were to pick one up now I'd pick up the new one but its whatever your budget is.
app works on both iOS and Android, I suggest getting 2 prime hds, not just one if you want good coverage
Yeah, my thread is here but did start off as a 34 lol
I have an Apex so my heaters are controlled by my Apex.
I do not use the strip for my tank but I do use wifi smart plugs all over the home. you can control them via an app or you can pair it with an smart assistant like Google or Alexa...
Hey good luck on this frag tank build, love mine and have been holding a ton of my corals till i stop slacking and get my 75 ready.
I'm currently using a DC2500, provides more than enough flow so the 3000 shouldn't be a problem. I'm using two jager 125w heaters but the tank is in the basement...
Medium - Medium Large Yellow Tang - He has gotten to big for the tank he is in and needs a new larger home. Pick up in 07208 or I can bring it down with me this weekend around the 07751 area with a payment first.
I will post a picture later tonight.
