That's great! Not very many children in the world get the opportunity your giving your students. They are very lucky to have you as their teacher. If even only one of your students walks away with an appreciation for the worlds reefs, your efforts will be worth more then can be counted.

Dave - have you come up with an all plastic solution for the float valve yet? I'm hoping the only mod to the one you looked at would be the rod and the swivel pin. There has to be a all plastic solution our there somewhere. We can't be the only one's that need something like that.

Bruce - The main concern now is the presence of stainless in the DI water. Sounds like it will be a problem. We need to come up with a all plastic solution.

There appears to be other stainless parts in the valve as well. Do you know of any sources of all plastic valves?

I believe the metal parts are all stainless. Not sure if that would be a problem in DI water.
