Gyre 130 will dwarf the mp10. There is really no point in using a mp10 with a gyre. On a 90 gallon maybe a mp40 will be a good choice with the gyre just to get that alternate flow. Just my $0.002. Sunny

So you are running the fixture for 12 hours. I am running it for 9 hours and using my retro for dusk and dawn. Which means that all 8 bulbs are on when fixture is on for 9 hours. I run fan for 10 hours.

Update T5 are OK but no where near where I want to be. I do not like the look so far. Been running LED for 5 years so I guess it is OK. That said, I will be making more changes to the setup. Skimmer, pumps, maybe a calcium reactor - .. Stay tuned.

Spend $40 on the skimmer auto shutoff when waste collector is full. Reef octopus has them. One of the best investments I made in the hobby. Sorry for the mess.
