Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
it won't stop the LED lighting arena for us though. it will actually spur people to make better/different systems.. LED's are the way to go with the long lamp life, low power draw and virtually no heat. the light they put out for their size is incredible..
only time will tell
well this is why i said slightly emaciated.. i have seen worse pictures but they did a decent job.. I think that it was probably a flake or pellet food and i never saw algae on a clip.. just a non specific food that they can feed all the fish with. other than that i haven't seen or had any...
I just wanted to update this and say that the tang is looking good i can no longer see any bulges from bones or internal organs unless it's belly is full.. between him and the coral beauty they destroy the veggie clip i put in every morning
usually the bulbs are going to be in the 6500 kelvin range which is perfect for Plants to grow. The reflectors on those lights usually spread the light out more than the focused light that we use for tanks.. I know which lights your talking about and you could use them but for the money your...
i still say this verges on the illegal line.. The monopoly law may come into effect but its a iffy law anymore.. I still say they cannot just patent any LED system for marine applications without having a system already and it's to broad of a patent. Thats like me getting one for a drinking...

you can use this as a ball park figure not including friction loss, 90's 45's, T's. If you used 3/4 all the way it might be a little small for what you need
so use this...
My astreas are breeding, i noticed one shoot out a milky substance yesterday as soon as the lights came on. then today i see more little bubbles with tiny white dots behind the powerhead so they should be safe.. Smart little things put them right where i can mag float :)
The title says it all.. I emailed the actual company but haven't go a response yet. I bought a Pro Clear Model 125 wet/dry for the 55 but need a couple parts. If in your travels of the Internet you have seen or see someone that deals with them let me know pls.
Thanks! 8)
I'm sorry to hear about your loss.. A silent killer indeed. That is one thing that was going on the big tank with a simple Light or buzzer to alert me when there was a charge in the tank..
Thanks Phil. I spoke with sonny (not that it was a big deal) it is winter time but he said he would hook me up next order.. The dragon eyes haven't really opened up much hopefully they just need more time.
I think i'm gunna bust out the Minolta, YES I SAID MINOLTA! 35mm and get a macro lens...
The white with black stripe damsel got thrown in the sump b/c he is mean and annoying.. A sailfin tang is being nursed back to health and now a Coral Beauty is also being nursed back to health.. So far this is a FOWLR or Mostly Fish Only tank.
Sorry i couldn't get any good pictures so i took a...
Bought a Pro Clear Wet/dry sump today it's missing a few pieces but for $40 couldn't beat it. I can't take Jennifer any where i swear.. She had to have a Pink Skunk Clown and a Coral Beauty for $15 (a trigger was hungry a little) & (went in the 220). Also picked up some Elephant ears i think and...
that's what you say now.:). I saw a 265gal for sale $250 at Pet Kare I on rt 40 Bear DE. but it needs a panel or two replaced due to a crack.. Also a 125gal for sale $200 with a cracked bottom.
Re: Here's my 120
AHHHHH smart idea with the Specialty suction cups! haha wish we had those! You keep posting pics of that tub i'm gunna have to buy one and figure out what to do with it later :)
they grow better in your tank because of the waste that is produced by the fish.. Hydroponics is great and can grow seemingly normal plants/vegetables into huge monsters if done correctly
Anyone watching it? They have a HUGE tank with manta rays and 3 Humongous Whale sharks.. it's something like 30meters long. I am in disbelief
