I just want to quote this and say thats what you think.
Damsels are evil and teach other fish to do bad things. I would get rid of the damsel because they pick on the other fish all the time in any tank. I had to throw my black/white damsel to the sump because he started to pick on my new...
it's not that he's not eating at the store but more that i think it's insufficient and a broad, cover all fish food. i forgot i have a pack of mixed frozen stuff.. i'll take some pics tonight and look for garlic/selcon this weekend.
Ok i'm buying a Sailfin that is slightly emaciated from the LFS. it has been there for a couple months with no buyers even though i talk about it everytime i see it. So I'm pulling the trigger today i can't stand to see it suffer any longer. Besides being a little underweight he looks good no...
I'm going to refer you to this thread.

depending on the clown type and how long the tank has been up for an anemone. How old is the tank and what type of clowns?
I know how it feels.. I drove up to get my 220 from Bax in Bloomingdale and to get a 75 gal from Godiver which i thought was bellmawr not belmar on the ocean.. lol everyone almost is an hour or more away. we have one pet store i'll call if that only has a limited selection of fish but they did...
not much to report.. i have the VHO's on a timer (1 actinic and 1 10k aquasun) also a 100watt equiv. CF bulb on the sump/refuge. Just waiting on my new endcaps and standoffs to mount the bulbs in the canopy and put it back on the tank.. (sorry it was dark and i was too lazy to turn on the lights :))
The favia unfortunately is a white skeleton now and was good food to the hermits, bristleworms and pods i saw on it. it was purple with bright green in the center but did not enjoy the 40 degree water it was in. the zoas are staring to open up one by one.
The GBTA is getting stickier it can...
The tank does look great with the VHO's. I have that same kinda pop to the 220 even with it mostly empty.. something about those big bulbs, different look than the T-5s up stairs. How deep is the tank? 24"?
not today.. :-\ :P the frogspwn ejected more polyps and not everything was looking to happy so i went for it today since it's been a little while. but everything has looked good on the tests minus a little low mag and calcium. What i was making stuff up in got boxes piled on top this week in the...
Make sure there is enough salt left to go back into the tank when doing a large water change because scraping all the salt creep you can find is no fun... :(
I want to give a huge thumbs up to Ice Cap for their customer service. I bought the 430 Ballast from the PA group buy and it was missing the fuse and cover to the fuse. One phone call and an email with my shipping address, two days later i had what i needed..
Thank you for great products and...
Sorry i misread the first post and thought you were feeding the fuge from the sump. it will gravity feed and why don't you use a T in the pipe to the sump with a ball valve to control the flow then it will feed the fuge as well as the sump and no more pumps or electricity
nah no way a whole bottle of soap would probably be required for this many.. it is an interesting picture though.. Something in the water is doing this i think.. or there is something in the pipe creating alot of turbulence
probably not unless the fuge is lower than the sump.. it would be hard for it to go against gravity unless the water pressure from the actual depth in the sump was greater
redfish, he is talking about having a pipe at the bottom of the sump go to the top of the fuge tank and Gravity feed. I...
